Truth: My greatest strength is my determination. I have set out on a quest to find truth in all matters. I don’t have to find all the answers, but I have to know that I tried.
Truth: I can be tactless at times. I have been known to blurt things out without thinking, and in doing so, offending people. I say what I believe to be the most true, and for this, I’m not ashamed.
Truth: I am passionate. When I make up my mind, I give 110%, and I don’t stop until I am done.
Truth: I have recently discovered what it means to have a conversation. And I LOVE it! Until recently, conversations to me were “Ask your elders a question, and listen to their answer.” If you needed some guidance and explanation, go ahead and ask. But they’re always right, and even though you don’t know why, you have to listen because they’re educated and you’re not. Now I realize that conversation is a matter of sharing opinions, listening and learning, and coming to a mutual and respectful agreement, even if the agreement is just to disagree.
Truth: I love a heated debate. One that includes intelligent conversation, using facts and sources, without turning you or your opponent into an insulting brute.
Truth: I believe the process of finding the truth is more important than the truth itself. The truth will not always clarify any situation, or change what has happened or is happening, but the path to enlightenment is a journey that can take you to places you never imagined.
Truth: I can only aspire to gain a fraction of the knowledge available in our world. But at the end of the day, if I can learn even one fact more than I knew when I woke up, I will have accomplished my goal, which is to make sure that this world has one less ignorant fool in it.
Truth: I can admit when I’m wrong. Not having the answer doesn’t always mean I’m wrong. If you can prove me wrong, you can change my mind. Your opinion, or the opinion of one other individual, doesn’t make your point, and it doesn’t prove me wrong.
